French for the property market

Real estate

Whether you're selling property in Provence or working with clients in Paris, the type of vocabulary you'll need isn't going to vary much from place to place.

A comprehensive set of classes for property professionals

This section on French for estate agents is very much the result of personal experience. As an estate agent working in northern Spain, almost 80% of my potential clients were from France, so learning how to talk about properties in French became a real priority for me. I lost count of the times when a new client would open the door and directly ask "Vous Parlez Francais?'

While property requires its own specific vocabulary, the work of an estate agent can be fairly repetitive: You talk to clients about their needs, email clients with the latest properties and then take clients on visits, before, hopefully, entering into negotiations about the price.

In this series of 3 free classes, we'll take you through the French you'll need for each of those typical scenarios you'll face as an Estate Agent. Alongside this section, make sure you also check out our course on Telephone French.
